A Working Auditor Building AI Tools for Auditors
For more than 20 years, Jacob has worked as a hands-on social compliance auditor—not a software developer who's never stepped inside a factory. With over 200 facility audits across Japan, China, and the United States, he's experienced firsthand the challenges that auditors face: tight deadlines, complex regulations, language barriers, and the pressure to deliver accurate findings.
Jacob is speaking at APSCA Portugal 2025 on AI in social compliance auditing, exploring how these technologies can support auditors in their work. Every tool he builds is designed to solve a problem he's personally faced in the field.
