5. AI Tools and Disclaimers

5.1 Not Legal or Professional Advice

AI-generated content provided through our chatbot, demonstration tools, or other services is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, professional, or compliance advice. You should verify all AI-generated information against authoritative sources and consult qualified professionals before making decisions.

5.2 No Guarantee of Accuracy

AI systems may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any AI-generated content. You use such content at your own risk.

5.3 Human Judgment Required

Our chatbot uses OpenAI's technology. We do not control the underlying AI model. OpenAI's terms of service and privacy policy apply to chatbot interactions.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 No Liability for Indirect Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eigo Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6.2 Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to Eigo Pro in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or ¥10,000 JPY if you have not paid any fees.

6.3 Exceptions

The limitations in this section do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or to the extent such limitations are prohibited by applicable law.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Eigo Pro, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of our services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any decisions you make based on AI-generated content where you failed to verify information against authoritative sources or consult qualified professionals as recommended in these Terms.

8. Service Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without notice. We may also terminate or suspend your access to our services for violation of these Terms or for any other reason, with or without notice.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as APSCA, research papers, or partner organizations). We do not endorse or control these third-party resources and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Your use of third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.
